Rachel has been working in the field of children's librarianship since she qualified in 2002. She currently manages the children and young people's library service for the London Borough of Sutton. She is an active member of the Youth Libraries Group, with the role of managing the annual conference, and will be the Vice-Chair in 2011.
She was a judge in 2010's Cilip Carnegie and Kate Greenaway awards.
