Lee Weatherly

A popular writer of all different age-ranges in children's fiction, Lee Weatherly was born in Little Rock , Arkansas and has lived in the UK since 1995.

Picture book:
Pigwitchery
Though she knew from the time she was three that she wanted to be a writer, the road to success was not always smooth and has included being: a waitress, gift shop clerk, nanny, receptionist, hotel desk clerk, audio typist, telemarketer (she only lasted one afternoon), accounts administrator, cleaner, legal secretary, PA, Human Resources administrator, après-ski hostess and assistant to a literary agent. The last job is the only one that even vaguely assisted her in her current career.

Lee's fairy series,
Glitterwings Academy,
launched in June

Young fiction titles:
Missing Abby, Kat Got Your Tongue
Breakfast at Sadie's, Child X
Lee is now a full-time writer of children's fiction, and thanks Heaven for it every day.

She shares her Hampshire home with her husband Pete, a large tabby cat called Bernard, and several thousand books.
